two headed garage punk band from Brabant/The Netherlands, calling Dolly Parton their grandma!

In 2024 stond de teller op 30 shows in Nederland/Belgie en bracht de band twee EP's en n single uit. Ook mocht men samen spelen met bands als Zeke (US), Reno Divorce (US) en TVOD (US). Ook voor 2025 staan er weer veel shows op de teller, oa een korte tour in de UK! Eind 2025 verschijnt er een vinyl album.

The Ax Effect doesn't play by the rules! This three-piece band has created there own style which is some sort of oldskool Thrash/Punk/Rock n Roll crossover! They have got an unconventional line-up with a stood up drummer / singer fronting the band !

The Ax Effect take lumberjack concept songs to the stage with high energy live performances.
With the drums front center The Ax Effect gives The audience a different experience all together!!! This three-piece band is non-conforming and loud as fuck !

L'effet de la hache ! Composé du batteur/chanteur principal : Mathijs Ansems, guitariste/choriste : Bart Kruijssen et bassiste : Harrie van Erp, le groupe y a créé son propre style avec un leader de batterie/chant debout ! Le groupe mélange des morceaux de hardrock, de métal et de punkacts des trois dernières décennies du 20e siècle et le termine par un concept de bûcheron !
